The Truth Project
- Meeting in Birch
- Led by Tom and Joan McGregor
Today’s believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced; we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life’s ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation.
The Truth Project, by Focus on the Family, is a DVD-based curriculum with lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.

The Life & Ministry of the Apostle Paul
- Meeting in the Fellowship Hall
- Led by Chris Strand
Few people have had a greater impact on Christianity than the apostle Paul. Using primarily the book of Acts, this class will focus on the life and ministry of Paul–who he was, the world he lived in, and his missionary journeys. Along the way we will examine some of the doctrinal teachings found in the letters he wrote.
An Introduction to Systematic Theology
- Meeting in Basswood
- Led by Pastor Aaron
“What does the whole Bible teach us today about any given topic?” This is the question that a systematic approach to theology seeks to answer. As Dr. Wayne Grudem explains in his seminal work on the topic, “This definition indicates that systematic theology involves collecting and understanding all the relevant passages in the Bible on various topics and then summarizing their teachings clearly so that we know what to believe about each topic.” This class will cover all of the major topics of scripture: Bibliology (the study of scripture/where it came from/how it was formalized), Theology Proper (the study of God/His attributes), Anthropology (the study of man/the fall/sin), Christology (the study of the person and work of Jesus Christ), Pneumatology (the study of the person and work of the Holy Spirit), Soteriology (the study of the doctrines of salvation), Ecclesiology (the study of the Christian church), and Eschatology (the study of end-times events and doctrines). This will be an in-depth study “to equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:12). If you would like to purchase the class text (recommended), you can find it at CBD – Systematic Theology: An Introduction to Biblical Doctrine by Wayne Grudem.
