Childcare
We have a well-staffed nursery available for infants and toddlers (ages 0-3). Care is provided during both worship services. Childcare is also available during the Sunday School hour; however, we encourage toddlers to attend Sunday School beginning at age 2.
Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment for children. Each room is staffed with one staff member that is paired with one volunteer. We believe that a team approach provides safer care and familiar faces for the children.
Security
In order to ensure the safety of your child, we have implemented a sign-in identification system to assist the nursery workers in identifying your child while he/she is in the nursery. When you leave your child, you fill out a form with the necessary information and you take a numbered tag with you. When you pick up your child, you present your tag to the workers so that they can identify your child and his/her belongings.
Disposables
We do provide paper cups, Kleenex, and small snack items for children. Additionally, a few diapers and wipes are available for situations when parents forget their own supply. Be sure to note if your child has any food allergies
Child Wellness Policy
We are pleased to offer a “Well Baby” nursery. Please do not leave your child if he/she has any of the following symptoms:
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Chronic cough
- Runny nose (thick mucus)
- Any known contagious rash, etc.
Want to help out?
First, sign up to volunteer. When you sign up you will choose which service to help in and how often you would like to help in the nursery.
Second, your name will appear on the nursery schedule which will be in your mailbox and down in the nursery. You will also receive a reminder in the mail.
Third, come down to the nursery and minister to our little ones. Here are some things you can do:
- Play with toys
- Read/tell a story
- Put together a puzzle
- Play a group game
- Sing songs
- Help give out snacks
- Help supervise all the children
Most importantly, have fun serving the Lord through serving the children.
