According to recent statistics, approximately 70% of post high school young adults abandon Christian fellowship and few ever return. The glaring question is, “Why?” Although there is a wide variety of responses, there are a few things that are apparent. Young Christian adults desire truth, transparency, and relationships. Upper Room Young Adult Ministries exists to offer Christian young adults a place to fellowship, develop encouraging relationships, find mentorship, ask hard questions, and be equipped to “rightly divide the Word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15). URYAM is not a fancy ministry, we spend our time and energy on studying the Word of God and “…equipping the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).
