Pastor J. “Aaron” White was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. The grandson of a minister, he moved to Minnesota in 1995 and attended Maple Lake High School where he met his now wife, Tanya. Aaron and Tanya both attended college in Saint Cloud, Minnesota and graduated in 2004. Aaron received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and Public Speaking though he did not have a clear call to ministry at that time.
Though raised in church, Pastor Aaron and Tanya did not fully surrender their lives to Jesus Christ until their time of undergraduate study. Shortly thereafter, he and Tanya were married and Aaron began a career in law enforcement. It was during this time that the Lord began calling Aaron to serve in formal ministry. While working full-time, Aaron studied and received a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling in 2008. In the fall of 2007, while working and studying for his Masters, Aaron began serving as the Worship Director of Annandale Evangelical Free Church. He served in this capacity until called to full-time pastoral ministry in March of 2010.
Aaron and Tanya have three children, Isabella (age 5), Gabriel (age 2), and most recent addition, Benjamin, whom they love dearly and who keep them hopping! While officially titled the Family Ministries Pastor, Aaron serves in the areas of worship, pastoral counseling, and young adult ministries. His desire is to see the body of Christ, young and old, come alive to the urgency of the hour – Jesus is alive and coming again! He and Tanya love their church family in Annandale and have found great joy and encouragement in seeing the Lord move in mighty ways among the body of Christ!
